Hey Everyone,
This is for a movie - not theatre - I hope you will all forgive me.

Heather is looking for:

- two 'transport' guards (just deliver the prisoners) - could shoot all
those sequences in an hour and bid them goodbye
- two 'interrogation room' guards - need them all of both days -
preferably strong muscular types - like at least ONE of them to be male.
- one 'interrogator' (read, torturer) - male.
- two 'prisoners' - preferably one male one female

.. if you know any of your 'improv' friends who'd like the challenge ... PLEASE point them her way. The sooner the better.

She needs people for Saturday and Sunday June 24th and 25th.

If you think you can do this, and commit, give Heather a call at 381-0091.

Thanks Everybody!!

I don't think I'd pass as a believable married woman, but here's a heads up for any of the 25+ Vancouver Island actors out there.

OPENING NIGHT MAY 31 IS TWO FOR 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

St. Lukes Church Hall, 3821 Cedar Hill Rd. At the corner of Cedar Hill Road and Cedar Hill X Road, entrance off Cedar Hill X Road

In An Act of the Imagination, Arthur Putnam is an eccentric and extremely successful mystery writer who, seemingly out of the blue, has just taken a complete departure from his usual style and written a vivid, passionate love story. When real life starts to mirror events from the manuscript however, his wife, son and editor begin to wonder if it is, indeed, purely a work of his imagination. Blackmail, adultury, conspiracy, murder... Slade has written a sophisticated and intriguing tale of suspense and deception, with enough plot twists and turns to entertain even the most active imaginations!

About the Playwright:

Canadian-born Bernard Slade is one of Hollywood's most prolific writers. After writing over twenty one-hour television shows for the CBC, he moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in Hollywood as a writer and story editor on "Bewitched". He has created eight television series, including "The Flying Nun", "The Partridge Family" and "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town". As a playwright, Slade produced the popular "Same Time Next Year", "Fatal Attraction," "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town" and many other notable works.
